If this is your first time getting involved with the con there are a few things you might need to know to improve your experience. In this section we will try to give you as much information as we can to make your booking and visiting as easy as possible.
Something really important to point out, we don’t take ourselves too seriously as an event. If you are used to boring corporate events like Infosec, you will find we are very different. We have been going for over 10 years and over that time the con has developed a character of its own. Once you get to know it and understand it, it will start to make sense, from the outside though, it may look a little random.
Here are three posts that will try to cover the most common questions we get, but if you still have questions after reading these, please get in touch.
if you are still undecided, ask yourself, do you have an interest in learning fun new things in a relaxed, friendly community. If you do, then give us a try.
SteelCon is a three day event, this is how the days break down. Friday – Workshops and pub, then Saturday is the main event, Sunday morning is a time to recover from the party and get some lunch before heading home.
We have three main ticket types: Main, Workshop and Kids track. The main ticket for the event is the main ticket. If you want to come along to any of the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday events
